okay i really need to say something because it’s been getting me pretty mad

as you can probably tell i’m one of the admins of rancorrp. me and my friend, the other admin, have been spending so much time working on this rp. literally, we were so so excited and we waited for the perfect day to open it. and when we did, we got someone accusing us of being a “wannabe dangerrp”. the only thing i have to say about this is that it’s false. the only similarity is that we’re both gang rps. the plots aren’t even the same. we have completely different stories for our plots. we have different characters, different fcs, different everything. the only other thing thats similar from what i just observed was the navi page – but first of all, it’s not even exactly the same, and second of all, PLENTY of people have used that layout. 

all i want to say is that there’s so many people in the rp world and we’re all bound to think of remotely similar ideas. gang rps are very common and somehow we’re the only rp that’s received hate for it. all we wanted to do was open a roleplay we worked very hard on, and it was thrown to absolute shit all because we had the same VERY GENERAL idea as dangerrp, as did many, many other roleplays. so a huge sarcastic thank you to those talk blogs who are treating us like we completely copied and ripped off that rp. you guys clearly wanted drama, and it’s just sad. 

ALSO: i’d like to note that i’ve made a few rps back in time, and i’ve often gotten graphics/plots/everything stolen from me. I KNOW WHAT IT’S LIKE WHEN SOMEONE COMPLETELY COPIES YOUR RP, and i would NEVER do it to anyone else. i’m so so upset that anyone would ever think me or my friend would copy someone else. please, lets stop spreading these lies, because we really don’t want people to be hesitant about our rp bc of sometihng so completely bizarre.
